Full Time Security Supervisor - Devens, MA $22.50

Securitas of Northern New England is hiring a full time security supervisor for one of our large pharmaceutical clients in Devens, MA. 

Our ideal candidate is someone personable, energetic, compassionate and customer service oriented. While a background in security is preferred, we also love to train, teach and mentor individuals with little to no experience.

Schedule / Shift: Monday – Friday 4:00 pm to Midnight

Rate: $22.50/hr.

Objectives of a Supervisor

• To develop motivated, trained, image conscious officers with high customer service mentality
• To take initiative and provide effective response to problems (before SSM or client is required)
• Command and Control of emergency processes and procedures out of hours, reporting immediately to SSM/ASM and site as required 
• Continuously strive to improve the quality, training, and effectiveness of the team
• Engage with the client proactively, and supportively, on new initiatives and develop a can-do attitude

 

General Role

• Uniform inspection (if deficiencies, corrects them for the shift, and escalate long-term issues to SSM)
• Communicate site concerns; incidents from previous shifts, changes and/or special events to SOs on duty 
• Reviews schedule (changes and open shifts) to ensure full coverage and capability of shifts
• Acts as a conduit to SSM for payroll, HR and other personnel issues
• Deployment and patrols (who, where, when) ensuring SOs are conducting L1 Assurance in line with Group Security Standards
• Ensure site-based training has been conducted and reported correctly with SSM
• Support SSM in ensuring TalentED modules are completed by SOs in a timely manner
• Maintain logs and write reports as required with site procedure during the shift

Requirements: 

• Strong customer service skills
• Valid drivers license preferred 
• High level of professionalism 
• Walking/standing for long periods of time 
• Moderate computer knowledge needed 
• MUST have GED/HighSet or HS Diploma 
• At least 18 years old • Ability to complete all pre-hire requirements
