Key Responsibilities:
Deliver standardized training in the classroom and/or simulator, including:
Captain Upgrades
Initial & Recurrent Training
PIC & SIC Evaluations
Differences Training
Remedial Training
Enforce company standards and promote safe operating practices.
Provide clear and effective instruction using strong communication and presentation skills.
Accurately and impartially evaluate pilot performance.
Conduct simulator and ground training at SIMCOM facilities.
Maintain accurate training records and submit required documentation on time.
Monitor customer progress to ensure alignment with SIMCOM training standards.
Serve as liaison between customers and training center management.
If authorized as a TCE, conduct Proficiency Checks and Certification Checks under FAR 135/142.
Participate in training meetings and conferences addressing customer requirements.
Maintain all required qualifications, certifications, and instructional proficiency.
Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Perform related duties and assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or state‑issued equivalent.
Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
Unrestricted ATP certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC type rating.
Passion for teaching with strong communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet‑based programs).
Participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
Authorization to live and work in the United States.
Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written).
Strong listening and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree.
Previous teaching or training experience.
Experience flying business aircraft.
Existing instructor qualification or type rating.
Experience on the CJ4 with a CE‑525 type rating.
