The Network Access Engineering role will work to enable PayPal’s workforce with cutting edge access technologies. This role will be instrumental in creating the future of access to enable our business.

This role help in analyzing, developing, managing, and deploying security tools around the globe. The focus is on network access, balancing security with enabling our business.

The team is comprised of individuals that have deep technical experience and hands-on experience. Also, the team is very much people first as most technologies we are responsible for are very necessary for the companies day-today work flows.

Job Description:

Your way to impact:

Serve as an engineer responsible for deploying next generation access tools.  This will enable our business, while improving our security posture. 

Your day to day:

• Design, plan, establish, and optimize remote access connectivity. 

• Develop security tools, infrastructures, and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization. 

• Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch. 

• Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and configure equipment

• Create manuals and support documentation . 

• Analyze statistical data to improve system performance. 

What do you need to bring:

• Minimum of 4 years of working experience with remote access technologies (VPN, private access, etc.) 

• Working knowledge of several infrastructure platforms (access, proxy, virtual desktop, etc.) 

• Strong Written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work well within the team, as well as cross vertical  

• Ability to manage vendor partners and handle
