Position Title:  Marketing Assistant Department:  Marketing Reports to:  Marketing & Design Specialist FLSA: Non-Exempt   Position Summary The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing & Design Specialist in the execution of marketing and communication initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting with campaign coordination, content development, event logistics, and creative production. The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in maintaining brand consistency, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the marketing department through both administrative and creative tasks.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaigns & Strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and clinical teams.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
  • Lead social media management and content creation, including scheduling, posting, and engagement across platforms, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance metrics and KPIs across marketing campaigns and social media platforms to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategy.
  • Content Development & Design
  • Support content creation for brochures, presentations, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Assist team in video interviews, camera operation, video and audio editing, as well as photography.
  • Event & Vendor Coordination
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely production and delivery of branded merchandise, promotional items, and printed collateral.
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, webinars, and other industry events.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements   Education Licenses/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing or administrative support roles (internships accepted).
  • Experience in photography and videography, including shooting, editing, and production.
Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and graphic design tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and content strategies tailored to each.
  • Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Generally, work in a remote environment.
  • Frequent and prolonged periods of computer and office equipment usage.
  • Standard business hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Regular interaction with team members, clients, and other stakeholders through various communication channels.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to maintain a stationary position for extended periods.
