Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00

Job Summary:

The Utility reports to the General Manager. This Utility responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment.  Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job

Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

A Utility/dishwasher's responsibilities include keeping a kitchen clean and organized, washing dishes, and assisting with food preparation: 

• Floors: Sweep or scrub floors 

• Storage: Keep cupboards and storage areas clean and organized 

• Supplies: Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars 

• Training: Participate in regular training to improve your skills and knowledge of kitchen operations 

• Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations 

• Cleaning: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment 

• Maintaining: Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, and keep the kitchen clean and organized 

• Sanitizing: Ensure dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before use 

• Food prep: Assist with basic food prep tasks like chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, or portioning ingredients 

• Trash: Dispose of garbage and recyclables according to guidelines
