WAE- Program Specialist

Job Summary:

The Program Specialists are expected to work with the participants during the program and always be on-site. Program Specialist are responsible for the safety of the participants throughout the day and night. They will also reinforce the safety protocols, rules, and expectations of the Shaping Futures summer program. The goal of this program is to expand the mental health workforce. The program is designed to create a mental health career pathway for rising high school seniors interested and curious about the field of mental health.   

Job Responsibilities:

50%--Introduce participants to the dynamics of mental health  

25%--To educate participants on the roles and responsibilities of mental health professionals   

20%--To explore career pathways into the mental health profession    

5%--Other duties as assigned

Minor Contact -This position and/or position's responsibilities require work directly with minors. Finger printing and National Sex Offender Registry check required per FASOP HR-04.

Minimum Qualifications:
