Manager of Food Services

Our valued equal opportunity partner is currently seeking a dedicated Manager of Food Services in Los Angeles, CA to join their team at a renowned studio lot.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations
• Ensuring impeccable food and beverage service to both employees and guests
• Coordinating catering orders
• Orchestrating special events
• Effectively leading a team of union employees
• Managing the Food Services website and POS systems

• Conducting safe reconciliation

• Performing cashier/ server tip payout procedures

• Daily facilities opening and closing inspections

• Storage room management

• Working closely with the back-of-the-house chefs and staff

Requirements

• A solid track record of 5-7 years in a managerial capacity within corporate food service, hotel, restaurant, catering, and/or special events.
• Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule driven by business demands.
• Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a quick grasp of new concepts.
• A positive attitude, excellent teamwork, and the ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives.
• Proficiency in utilizing computer systems and software.
• Strong customer service with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort and competence in handling financial transactions.
• Previous experience overseeing union employees is a plus, although not mandatory.
