JOB DESCRIPTION JOB OVERVIEW JOB TITLE Field Support & Delivery Technician DEPARTMENT Transportation LOCATION Varies REPORTS TO Director of Transportation GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Field Support & Delivery Technician to assist with logistics, delivery, and field support operations. This position plays a key role in supporting job sites by transporting supplies, setting up mobile fueling equipment, and maintaining the overall functionality of the facility and yard. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently. A Class A license is required to operate company vehicles. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Safely operate company vehicles (requiring a Class A license) to deliver parts, equipment, and supplies to job sites and vendor locations. • Set up and maintain mobile fuel tanks and gas pumps at job sites according to company safety procedures. • Pick up materials and supplies from vendors as needed. • Assist with facility upkeep, including organizing the yard, cleaning, snow removal and salt application in winter and general maintenance duties. • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely, professional communication with field teams. • Ensure all tools, equipment, and mobile fuel systems are transported and handled safely and securely. • Consistently present a professional and positive image of the company and its services. • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Strong communication skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time effectively. • Basic mechanical & electrical aptitude a plus (especially related to fuel equipment setup and minor yard tools). EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & TRAINING • Prior experience with equipment delivery, fueling systems, skid steer operation and logistics support preferred. • High school diploma or G.E.D. WORK ENVIRONMENT • Work performed primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. • Regular exposure to traffic, road hazards, and operational noises. PHYSICAL ABILITIES • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
