Senior ServiceNow Developer

We currently have a career opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role is REMOTE

As a ServiceNow Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

• Develop/configure on ServiceNow platform specifically on ITAM, CMDB, & ITSM
• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
• Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

• ServiceNow Development experience of 5 years required.
• Passionate developer with multiple implementation experience in ITAM and ITSM.
• Solid experience on IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM) 
• Solid understanding of CMDB and hands on experience of Discovery populating the CMDB
• Hands-on experience configuring ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Problem, Change). Knowledge of Major Incidents.
• Proficiency using Glide API and JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform
• Experience integrating external system to ServiceNow using REST & SOAP.
• Solid experience creating Dashboards/Reports - Performance/Platform Analytics 
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
• Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major is preferred.
