Our European headquarters are in Munich, Germany, and we have affiliates in 13 European countries and Canada.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Head of HR (HRBP)</p> <p>Daiichi Sankyo Austria</p> <p> </p> <p>As Head of HR you are responsible for the strategic HR advice, as well as the day-to-day operational tasks for the Austrian affiliate, which contribute to the achievement of the organization’s objectives and its ultimate success. Coaching and advice at (line) management level and the implementation of changes are important in this respect. At the same time, understanding the business and the market, and being close to the business is a real must. Being a very strong business partner (HRBP) is key to the success in the role.</p> <p> </p> <p>Acting as the Head of HR you are part of the MSC HR Team and work closely with your colleagues in the region. There is a very close collaboration with the local leadership team.</p> <p> </p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities </p> <ul> <li>Act as a business partner (HRBP) for the Austrian affiliate to provide expert HR guidance and advice the local leadership team, you present HR and support the business requirements with respective actions.</li> <li>Responsibility for operational and strategic HR management </li> <li>Advising and supporting line managers and employees in the areas of personnel management, recruitment, appraisal, remuneration, development and retention, labor law, etc</li> <li>Responsibility for the entire recruiting process (incl. assessment center, contract alignment with relevant stakeholders, interaction with headhunters, assistance for job descriptions, support for onboarding)</li> <li>Provide management of all employee relation issues including performance management, disciplinary and complaints </li> <li>Develop and implement HR policies and procedures with respect to internal and external rules and regulations </li> <li>Maintain professional knowledge including employment/labor law/works council </li> <li>Ensure all aspects of HR administration are completed in an accurate and timely manner </li> <li>Handling and execution of the entire personnel administration and payroll, from the preparation of employment contracts and references to the registration of social insurances and the preparation of monthly payroll processing for the external provider. </li> <li>Planning and support for annually recurring processes (e.g. salary and bonus systems, etc.) </li> <li>Coordination and management of international and local HR projects </li> <li>First contact for time management incl. 1st level support for employees (leave, attendance, absence, working time models) and providing reports for different stakeholders</li> <li>Collaboration in current and new HR projects​</li> <li>Develop and maintain employee relations with a customer-orientated and trustful approach</li> <li>Inform and communicate with employees according to lawful and ethical standards and ensure employee compliance with company policies</li> <li>Ensure a productive and trustful collaboration with the works council</li> <li>Mobility, facility, Health &amp; Safety and Sustainability also fall within the scope of the Head of HR. </li> <li>Accountable for corporate communications in close cooperation with the international headquarters. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Professional experience &amp; education</p> <p>- Higher degree (University/Bachelor with specialization in HRM is an advantage) </p> <p>- Several years of professional experience in a comparable HR function in an international environment </p> <p>- Excellent knowledge of Austrian labor and social security law.
