Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Position: Hybrid
(position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position)

This role requires extensive hands-on development experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to leverage AI-driven tools and DevSecOps practices for secure, scalable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java SE 1.8 and Java EE 8 frameworks.
- Work extensively with EJB, JPA, and SOAP-based services, ensuring robust integration between persistence layers and business logic.
- Analyze complex legacy codebases and propose transformation strategies for cloud migration and modernization.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and security engineers to ensure solutions align with business and security objectives.
- Utilize AI code analysis tools for static analysis, code understanding, and pattern recognition to improve software quality.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and continuous monitoring.
- Support cloud-native strategies, including containerization, elastic scaling, and service decoupling.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development with SMEs and product owners.
- Apply advanced knowledge of software design principles and patterns to deliver maintainable, scalable, and secure applications.
- Document requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs as needed.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Java EE development (EJB, JPA, SOAP-based services).
- 12+ years of experience with Java SE 1.8 and Java EE 8, including deployment on enterprise application servers.
- 12+ years of experience in object-relational mapping and integrating persistence with business logic.
- 10+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across architecture, business, and security domains.
- 8+ years of proven experience with or strong understanding of AI code analysis tools.
- 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps practices (automated testing, deployment, monitoring).
- 8+ years of exposure to cloud-native transformation strategies (containerization, elastic scaling, loosely coupled interfaces).
- 8+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, collaboration with SMEs).
- 8+ years of strong analytical, problem-solving, and software design skills.
