Forklift Operator 2

Description

 Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to stage and retrieve supplies and materials in a safe manner. 

• Some of the duties and responsibilities may include:
• Ensures  all transactions are timely and accurate in warehouse management system (WMS)
• Meets performance standards for efficiency and volume
• Maneuvers product in congested areas
• Ensures dock area, warm up room, freezer warehouses, dry and corrugate warehouses are organized and clean
• Moves material between bin locations accurately
• Stores product and raw material
• Ensures the accuracy of all outbound and inbound trucks as they are loading or unloading as our last line of defense before going to customer
• Pulls and stages raw materials for production in safe and timely manner
• Pulls, issues and un-issues dry material accurately and timely
• Prepares spice mixtures daily for Production w/extreme accuracy and meets food safety compliance
• Performs cycle counts of raw and finished goods on continuous basis
• Loads and unloads containers and trailers safely and accurately
• Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedure (SOP), HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or TABE equivalent

Certified and licensed forklift operator

3 years forklift experience, w/position availability

Ability to operate heavy equipment

Strong math skills

Extremely accurate

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively

Computer literate
