Please note definition differences between Intern and Co-op:

Intern:  Student works full-time during the summer

Co-op:  Student works part-time while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.

 

Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Finance team in El Paso, TX.  The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 12, 2025, to August 15, 2025.

 

What you will be doing:

• Review invoices for continued accuracy
• Coordinate invoice authorization with department that initiated purchase
• Maintain relations with vendors in a non-buying situation through communication with management and personnel (other than those in buying organization)
• Investigate and resolve price/quantity discrepancies through work with Yazaki buyers, warehouse personnel, vendor account representatives, and Accounts Receivable personnel

 

What you will bring to the table:

• Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period
• Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., Finance)
