The Analyst & Accounting Manager plays a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, supervising accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) employees, and providing strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate has expertise in accounting, financial planning, and leadership, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and compliance reviews.
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Supervise AP/AR employees, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Implement process improvements to enhance cash flow management and operational efficiency.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct cost analyses, profitability assessments, and operational efficiency reviews.
- Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analysis to optimize financial performance.
- Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Process Improvement & Leadership:
- Identify and implement process efficiencies to enhance financial operations.
- Utilize data analytics and technology to streamline reporting and accounting workflows.
- Mentor and support junior accountants and finance team members.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support financial initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.

Salary Transparency
The pay range for this position is $70,000-$90,000/year. Please note that the higher end of the pay range is reserved for candidates with extensive experience and qualifications that exceed the requirements of the role. Most new hires typically start at the beginning of the pay range, with opportunities for growth and increases based on performance and tenure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and AP/AR management.
- Proven experience supervising and developing AP/AR employees.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
