Job Summary:
The Manager of Financial Reporting will work directly with Harrow’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Financial Operations and play a key role in efforts related to drafting and reviewing SEC reporting documents along with budgeting, forecasting and other financial planning efforts. This is a critical role that will further build out a best-in-class financial reporting function, internally and externally. This person will also take the lead on technical accounting projects, financial analysis and other financial projects as they come up.
The candidate must have a demonstrated record of experience in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting as well as the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize work, demonstrate accountability, and meet established deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Play a key role in the development of quarterly/annual financial statements included in the company’s SEC filings on Form 10-Q and 10-K as well as other filings (proxy, registration statements, etc.)
- Lead the internal monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Oversee equity and debt accounting and option plan administration (via Equity Edge).
- Lead technical accounting efforts related to one-time complex transactions, including the drafting of accounting position whitepapers.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the
- organization.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with external auditor requests and executing the financial reporting component of the external audit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA, CPA or advanced degree is a plus.
