We are looking for intern engineers to join our dynamic Electrical engineering hardware team.
This position is an opportunity for a motivated Electrical or Computer engineering intern to work on electrical CCA design and verification tasks for Raytheon division within RTX.
Duties may include assisting senior engineers with requirements capture, design implementation, design verification, technical documentation, and other Circuit Card Assembly development process/methodology/support activities.
Candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proactive when seeking needed information from other personnel. The candidate should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Power Point and Excel. Prior exposure to electrical engineering design/verification Electronic Design Automation tools is a plus but not required.
What You Will Do
- Assist in definition of electrical circuit card assembly architecture, requirements and documentation
- Participate in peer reviews
- Perform electrical testing in a laboratory environment
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of summer 2026.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Exposure to electrical CAD tools (PSpice, Mentor Graphics, or similar)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively document and present one’s work and status
- Cumulative GPA 3.0+ highly desired
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline environment
