Job Summary
Job Summary:
The floating Patient Services Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the patient services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and administrative support. This role involves supervising staff, resolving patient concerns, coordinating with clinical teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role will support the following hospitals:Research Centerpoint, Overland Park, Menorah and Lee's Summit.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the patient services team.
- Ensure smooth patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement service improvements.

Staff Management
- Hire, train, and evaluate patient services staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching.
- Develop staff schedules and manage coverage for all shifts.

Patient Relations
- Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns promptly.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and hospital departments.
- Promote a patient-centered culture focused on empathy and responsiveness.

Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on patient services.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaboration
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to coordinate care.
- Support strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience.
- Participate in cross-functional committees and improvement projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
