The Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness (CHECW) seeks to eliminate racial and other inequities resulting in premature mortality. With an unwavering grounding in history and structural analysis, CHECW works to increase visibility of the harm perpetuated by centuries of racist, socially unjust policy while pushing towards redress for the most impacted NYC communities. CHECW addresses inequity across community and healthcare systems in partnership with community, faith-based, and health care organizations. CHECW's work focuses on social determinants of health, including environmental and commercial determinants, and addresses both upstream and downstream factors to improve health and well being of New Yorkers. CHECW is comprised of the Bureau of Bronx Neighborhood Health, the Bureau of Brooklyn Neighborhood Health, the Bureau of Harlem Neighborhood Health, the Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention, the Bureau of Health Equity Capacity Building, the Bureau of Equitable Health Systems and the Bureau of Finance, Administration and Services. The division's Deputy Commissioner also serves as the Agency's Chief Medical Officer. The Bureau of Equitable Health Systems unifies several units to strengthen the Department's ability to strategically partner with the NYC healthcare system (including but not limited to integrating behavioral and community linkages into primary care practice).

The bureau will engage primary care providers, hospitals, and other healthcare systems to implement evidence-based strategies, leverage information to support planning and technical assistance for providers and payers; advance policy to close the racial equity gap for priority health outcomes; and surface opportunities where health care can influence and connect individuals to social support and address the whole person, beyond aliments. The Bureau of Equitable Health Systems seeks to hire a Data Quality Manager to join the Community Healthcare Support Team. The Data Quality Manager will manage data aspects of several highly visible grants and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to make sure that deliverables are met.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Manage and support processes related to the implementation of data acquisition workflows. Work Closely with the Executive Director of Community Healthcare. Support BEHS leadership to identify emerging technology that can be incorporated into quality improvement projects. Shadow field team staff to external partner sites and assess data accuracy and workflow efficiency. Identify opportunities and develop strategies to advance programmatic activities. Keep the relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities. Provide internal and external stakeholders with training on new protocols, technology and workflows aimed at the improved management of chronic illness. Provide technical assistance to external partners related to data for project deliverables. Manage and assist in the implementation of special projects and requests made by the Executive Director of Community Healthcare Support.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Excellent project management skills with experience in managing and supervising projects
Excellent organizational skills
Experience with Health Information Technology with a focus in population health management.
Strong command over written and verbal communication.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Good understanding of the organization's overall business and its objectives.
Ability to work within a team and provide support to the other staff.
Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities.
A multi-tasker with strong ability to work under pressure.

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
Proficient in using computer with related knowledge of software programs.
