ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism — from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
This internship is an unpaid role and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement. Must be based in NYC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Events
- Assist in setting up and executing events.
- Monitor sales results for events.
- Be on-site at events to help in whatever capacity needed.
- Work with retail events manager to enhance in-store shopping experience around events
Vendor Relations
- Support in setting up vendors for events
- Sending new vendor paperwork
- Managing calendar invites
- Proposing new vendors
Budget tracking
- Track spend of budget between stores and retails events manager
- Report on return of the investment (sales tied to spend for event)
Marketing
- Set up in Mondays tasks for marketing to work on invites for stores.
- Communicate invites to stores.
- Manage beverage replenishment.

SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS
- Currently enrolled in college or university
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Fashion major preferred
- Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
- Strong communication skills
