Summary
Job Description:
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a full-time, 40-hour per week, day shift position. The Registered Nurse will implement the nursing process for patients of all ages, from infancy to geriatric, ensuring care is consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies. The nurse will promote positive patient outcomes, deliver quality care, and initiate change by actively participating in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils. As a key member of the inter-professional team, the Registered Nurse will collaborate to enhance patient outcomes and serve as a role model for continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Using critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and appropriate nursing judgment, the Registered Nurse will utilize the Nursing Process to provide care and contribute to a healthy professional practice environment. (40 Hours Weekly; 4-10hr shifts; Works every 10th Weekend; 2 on call Shifts per Month)
Requirements
Active Kentucky License
BCLS Required within 90 days of employment.
ACLS will be required within 6 months of employment
