Salary Range: $112,986.00 - $113,300.00/yr
Job Description: Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design. Develop customized coding, software
integration, perform analysis, configure solutions, using tools specific to the project or the area. Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing. Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production. Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of software engineering training or work experience in IT. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of software engineering training or work experience in IT lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Azure Cloud (dev/Ops);.Net Programming (C#, ASP.net, VB.Net, ASP Classic); DNN (DotNetNuke); Database (MS SQL, SQL Server Integration Service, SQL Server Reporting Service, ORACLE);Dynatrace SaaS; PowerBuilder; SharePoint; Web Technologies such as: HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS and Bootstrap; Project Methodologies-Agile(SCRUM) and Waterfall; Information systems and ability to identify, apply and implement IT best practices; key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function; ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices; solve complex technical and operational problems; design, developing and maintaining automated unit testing and supporting integration and functional testing; specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments; insurance or financial services experience; applied knowledge of ITIL Service Management and related Service Management platforms; open-source tools and frameworks; web servers, application containers, caching technologies; relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling); messaging systems (i.e. MQ and JMS); build tools, such as Git, TFS, Maven and Jenkins; ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Multiple positions available.
Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC.
