Please note: this is a remote role based in Spain.

In this Role, you will:

• Be the voice of quality. Actively promote testability, supportability, security and performance on scrum teams throughout SDLC
• Design test cases based on product requirements and existing product functionality. Measure and ensure adequate test coverage. Propose plan to improve coverage over time
• Create test plans in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
• Verify features and bug fixes to meet product acceptance criteria. Adequately document test executions for traceability
• Investigate regressions and troubleshoot customer escalations, document steps to reproduce the issues, identify gaps in test coverage, and plan and execute action items to remediate
• Review and identify test coverage from automated test suites (unit tests, functional tests, UI end-to-end tests) and collaborate with automation engineers to address gaps in coverage
• Provide usability feedback and ensure UI and UX convention is followed
• Review product documentation and release notes to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with security champions to execute security tests, track, and verify remediations
• Design and execute performance benchmarks and track performance improvement metrics

We're Looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years experience in testing and shipping enterprise-grade software products across multiple release cycles. QA lead experience is highly desirable
• Expert in web application testing covering functionality, usability, documentation, security, and performance
• Knowledge of software QA best practices
• Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and JavaScript
• Prior experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Experience with test case management tools such as Xray, TestLink, and TestRail
• Experience working with log aggregation and error management tools such as SumoLogic, Graylog, Sentry, and Rollbar
• Prior experience with security testing tools (SAST/DAST etc) desirable
• Prior experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter desirable
• Prior experience with observability tools such as DataDog and New Relic desirable
• Extreme attention to details yet maintaining perspective to prioritize
• A logical and critical thinker. You can quickly get up to speed and understand complex domain knowledge
• Experienced communicator who can work with cross-functional teams to create and execute plans
• Focused on the problem. You can go heads down to understand the root cause of a bug
• Embrace a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You have experience balancing multiple projects and priorities
