Overview
Presbyterian is seeking an Administrative Staff Support for Cardiac Rehab to perform a variety of clerical support services for the efficient operations of a designated department.

Qualifications
- High school plus specialized, short-term training in secretarial skills, ability to type 45 wpm, word processor skills.
- Good grammar and communication skills. Knowledge of office equipment.
- Less than one year office experience in a customer service or medical office
Education Essential: High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Obtains all information necessary for admission and discharge of patients, including information to ensure payment to Presbyterian Hospital.
- Responsible for retrieving all medical records including pathology reports, x-ray reports, and all outside reports from referring physicians.
- Answers all calls promptly and courteously, taking accurate messages and delivering them in a timely manner.
- Provides back up for all patient charges and insurance verification/processing.
- Prepares daily treatment, doctor, and simulator schedules and distributes in a timely manner.
