We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Technology Team. This Software Developer position sits in the Sanctuary Technology department and specifically within the Software Development team which currently consists of 5 people. The team focuses on the ongoing development of a distinctive and ambitious in-house electronic care planning product. This innovative solution has the potential to enhance the lives of thousands of residents and is currently utilized by more than 6000 staff members across Sanctuary Care to deliver quality Care to 4500 residents. The ideal candidate should be technically proficient and have the drive to understand the whole product and solution. If the term "full stack development" is something you want to embrace, then this is the role for you.
The role of Software Developer will include:
- Engagement in software development, debugging, and feature enhancement for Sanctuary Care's internally developed Electronic Care Planning and Point of Care Software, known as "kradle"
- Collaborate with product team, ux design, and fellow developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using C# and React, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while ensuring high performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain Wiki documentation to support the entire development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria, test evidence, and change request implementation processes
- Actively participate in agile development processes from pull requests and code reviews but also contribute to the ceremonies including sprint planning/reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
Skills and experiences:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in software development, with a focus on C# and React/Web Development
- Proficient in C#, .NET framework, and SOLID object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience in Mobile App development would be an advantage
