About the role
- Conducts pre and post work Inspections of truck. Prepares required documents and reports issues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Hauls and unloads various oilfield by product according to operating and safety procedures.
- Moves oilfield waste to and from various destinations within facility.
- Performs proper maintenance and care of truck and required documentation.
- Provides general assistance in facilities including washing with wash hose and picking up trash.
- Assists others as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility.
- Exposure to shift scheduling cost control, safety, environmental and facilities/capital equipment management.
- Must have the ability to diagnose process problems, troubleshoot basic equipment and take corrective action within policy and procedure limitations.
- Must understand and follow all safety policies and apply good safety practices while working and possess an exemplary safety record.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the care and use of all sites specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment.
- Must pass a drug screen, pre-employment physical, MVR and background check.
- Must have ability to communicate at all levels including engineers, operations staff, mechanical and electrical staff and with customers.
- Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Be an example of integrity and honesty to the less experienced staff.
- Valid driver’s license
