Compass Government Solutions is currently hiring an Anesthesiologist, pending award, for a role at the Providence VA Medical Center to provide on-site care for military Veterans to provide preventative care, detect developing health problems, and give advice to help patients develop healthy habits.
Job Description
Job Requirements of the Anesthesiologist:
Education of patients before and after they receive anesthesia for a procedure or surgery
Assessing the patient’s physical response to Anesthesia – including providing support for breathing and circulation
Identifying possible risks to the person undergoing anesthesia, including allergies and other issues related to health conditions
Performing a comprehensive history and physical examination to develop a patient-specific treatment plan
Qualifications
Qualifications of the Anesthesiologist:
Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university in the United States or Canada
Active and unencumbered license to practice as an Anesthesiologist
DEA Registration number
Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology
