HRBP – Southern Hub:
The HRBP is a key member on the Diageo Southern Hub Leadership team (Kentucky & Tennessee) that drives the people agenda across the sites to drive business growth through enabling strong organizational efficiency and performance culture.
The role crafts and delivers the multi-year talent plan for the groups delivering on people projects that drive breakthrough business performance within the groups they support, and which ultimately contribute to each function’s overall performance. Additionally, this role is part of the broader supply HR organization.
Key Deliverables:
- Partners with the leadership teams to build a high performance, people-focused culture that drives business results.
- Ensures that the talent and people strategy is championed and driven optimally by leadership and line managers.
- Supports Diageo initiatives related to resourcing – attraction, hiring, onboarding, development and retention.
- Drives engagement planning and execution, ensuring a focus on building a growth culture, a diverse and inclusive environment and a phenomenal place to work.
- Anticipates and assesses the gaps between business needs and people capabilities and drives appropriate actions.
- Facilitates succession planning process, with a focus on achieving diversity and crafting developmental plans for high performing, high potential staff.
- Supports organizational design for greater organizational efficiency and change management and appropriate interventions.
- Improve impact of reward strategies.
- Strong coach to leaders and line managers.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a related field.
- Demonstrated track record in Human Resources management, organizational development, leadership development, and talent management.
- Essential commercial insight and experience, gained through cross-functional working.
- Change and Project management experience.
- Labor/industrial relations experience.
- Strong influencing skills and analytical problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence all levels of management.
- Able to build and maintain trusting relationships.
- Excellent coaching and relationship building skills. Demonstrates a track record as a valued coach and peer in the business.
- Broad awareness and understanding of the interdependencies of the Talent, Reward and OE agendas.
- Demonstrated track record of influencing and advising Senior Executives
