Job Overview
Saronic is looking for an exceptional accounting manager to join the accounting and finance team supporting Saronic’s rapid growth. You will be responsible for managing multiple general ledger functions, closing the books and preparing financial statements and developing staff members. You will also work closely with members of the accounting team and the business to improve cross-functional processes and the related system solutions. You will be an instrumental part of creating and maintaining the policies and procedures needed to scale our organization. This is a full-time role, reporting to our Director of Accounting, based in our office in Austin, Texas.

You will also work closely with members of the accounting team and the business to improve cross-functional processes and the related system solutions. You will be an instrumental part of creating and maintaining the policies and procedures needed to scale our organization. This is a full-time role, reporting to our Director of Accounting, based in our office in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, P&L allocations and financial statement variance analysis
- Support monthly internal and external financial reporting
- Implement and manage close management solutions and decrease close timing
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Coordinate and assist with external audits
- Manage accounting processes for international subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
- Collaborate on the development of policies and procedures as we scale our organization
- Manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years managing and developing a team
- Experience at a public accounting firm strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), practices and procedures
- Ability to think outside the box and be nimble
- Deadline driven and an ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Netsuite experience (preferred) or other accounting ERP experience
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
