Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering treatments, medications, and monitoring their recovery.
- Anesthesia and Surgery: Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Diagnostics: Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs, ensuring accurate results and timely processing.
- Client Education: Engage with clients to provide clear communication on their pets’ health, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior staff and help foster a collaborative, positive work environment. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to grow your leadership skills and potentially lead teams or projects.
- Technician Utilization: Play a pivotal role in all areas of patient care, from routine exams to critical care cases, ensuring your technical skills are fully utilized.

As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:
Compensation:
- Pay range is $ 27 - 30 / hr and we pay a $2hr shift differential for the weekends. Negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
