Job Description:
IVY REHAB FOR KIDS- PRN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST IN PRIVATE SCHOOLSPOSITION SUMMARY:
Ivy Rehab for Kids is contracted with many private schools and preschools in the area to provide the same quality skilled outpatient services we provide in our clinics to the school locations. As this area of practice grows, we are looking to add qualified clinicians to our team. This position will be per diem with a potential increase in hours. Additional hours may be available in clinic as well. All hours will range during the school day (~8:30am to 3pm daily). This is the perfect position for a seasoned clinician who would like to work a convenient schedule during school hours.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outpatient therapy services as prescribed by the physician
- Provide exceptional care through evaluation, design, and implementation of care
- Perform school screenings in the fall of each year
- Review evaluation results, integrate findings with other disciplines, offer recommendations, and develop individual education plans and intervention plans to achieve annual IEP goals
- Promote and assist patients in progression of care to achieve optimal outcomes
- Encourage family involvement and independent maintenance in the least restrictive environment
- Bill for treatment while adhering to compliance standards
- Document appropriately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, other health care professionals
- Maintain a safe environment
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Proof of current or pending state licensure in respective state
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner
- Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task
