Business Reporting Analyst I

Overview

We are seeking a Business Reporting Analyst to join our Client Insight and Reporting team to support a growing client base. Combining Analytical skills with knowledge of payment policy, the insight analyst is responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and delivering key insights to the client team using KPI's. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly Financial reports with a focus on accuracy, relevance, and identifying trends or patterns.
• Develop recommendations, insights, and narratives from the evaluation of weekly and monthly reports.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to quantify client specific metrics, identify strategic opportunities, and contribute to team-based project work.
• Monitor client trends, collaborate with internal client team, and report on issues affecting daily operations, while supporting ad hoc requests across multiple clients and products.
• Collaborate with client teams to design and build reports that track financial trends and changes.
• Assist management in identifying and executing improvement opportunities for business reporting.
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
• Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related field (Business, Finance, Statistics, or Economics preferred) or equivalent.
• 0 - 1 year of relevant analytics experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), including internships.
• Experience using data management tools and SQL for effective data analysis.
• Strong analytic skills, including ability to identify and quantify financial/operational impact of opportunities with limited data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• No adverse environmental conditions expected.
• Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
• Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

 

Base compensation ranges from $54,000.00 Yr. to $66,000.00 Yr. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
