You will be part of the team of 20+ scientists and engineers delivering solutions for our product portfolio and enhancing operational excellence.</p><p>Your global responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):</p><ul><li>Leading our Science team with the focus on quality, delivery, and adoption of technology and AI within the organization</li><li>Innovating by adapting new machine learning algorithms and recent advances in generative AI</li><li>Promoting best practices in AI and machine learning and mentoring team members</li><li>Partnering with tech and product leaders across the EV organisation</li><li>Staying in close contact with customers to evaluate their needs and recommend solutions that increase customer satisfaction and drive business value</li><li>Staying on top of technology trends in the area of, but not limited to, AI and apply this knowledge to the key challenges ahead of EcoVadis </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p><ul><li>PhD or MSc degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics/Applied Math) </li><li>5+ years of experience in formal management roles with at least 3 direct reports</li><li>Track record of successful end-to-end projects in an applied research context</li><li>10+ years of overall experience in machine learning and NLP, with expert knowledge of machine learning from forecasting to architectures used in NLP,  ML frameworks and libraries</li><li>Excellent mentoring skills and accountability for high quality and timely delivery of the initiatives</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented and collaborative environment</li><li>Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration in the development of AI-powered products and services (e.g., Engineers, Product Managers)</li><li>Experience in publishing at top-tier NLP, AI or ML conferences (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS) and contribution to open source software development is considered a plus</li><li>Experience in leveraging the Azure stack (e.g., Azure cloud, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory) and Databricks to deliver end-to-end solutions is considered a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Skills, abilities and work standards:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Continuous Learner</strong> – Ability to continually develop and improve one’s skill and knowledge to perform effectively and adapt to change in the workplace.
