Materials Coordinator

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Hourly Materials Coordinator to support our team of Actuator Material Planners in our dynamic manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the Actuator machine lists, ensuring alignment with the capacity of the fabrication area and the requirements of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Update and manage Actuator machine lists to reflect current capacity and ensure alignment with the fabrication area’s capabilities.
• Coordinate with the Actuator fabrication team to understand and document machine availability and capacity.
• Release, print, staple, scan and distribute work order paperwork for Actuator
• Process cancelations and duplicate work orders and apply those materials to other open work orders if possible
• Help identify potential shortages or delays and communicate these to the Material Planners.
• Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous Production planning or materials coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a production manufacturing environment
• Ability to make sound decisions in determining proper sequence of operations and/or destination of incoming items based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to work with different departments to coordinate a production plan that supports service and efficiency.
• Basic computer skills.
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
