Role Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in GPU development, C++, CUDA, OpenCL, and image processing to support our client’s next-generation CT scanner project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU-accelerated algorithm development, with a focus on optimizing image processing workflows.

 

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

•  
  • Implement image processing algorithms on GPU using C++, OpenCL, CUDA, OneAPI
  • Optimize CT image chain performance using heterogeneous HPC solutions
  • Port algorithms from Matlab to GPU or OpenCL to CUDA
  • Conduct GPU profiling, performance tuning, and bottleneck resolution
  • Execute comprehensive testing, performance benchmarking, and documentation
  • Ensure quality and compliance per regulatory and product standards
  Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with GPU programming
  • Proficient in C++, CUDA, OpenCL, OneAPI
  • Experience in image processing algorithm implementation and optimization
  • Solid understanding of High-Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Skilled in GPU profiling and performance analysis
  • Experience with Matlab, especially for porting to GPU environments
  • Strong documentation skills following Good Documentation Practices
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in medical imaging or healthcare device development
  • Familiarity with CT scanners or radiological image processing
  Additional Details:
  • This is an onsite position in Waukesha, WI (no remote/hybrid options)
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and willing to work on our W2
  • No C2C / third-party resumes will be accepted

 

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):
