Clinical Technician 2 – Cardiovascular Stepdown with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus  

Full-time Days | Shift: Days vary

Three (3), 12-hr day shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Cardiovascular Stepdown with the renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity!

 Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
  • ADLs
  • Blood Draws
  • IV Insertion
  • Catheter / Foley insertion 
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. 
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
• Training:  Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,
  • Virtual modules
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM
  • On-unit training with the department hired into (times TBD)
• Experience:  1 year of acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school
