Senior Product Strategist

The Senior Product Strategist will play a key role in defining long-term product line strategy by providing insights and analysis to heads of product and participating in planning exercises, assisting product owners in developing strategic roadmaps, supporting innovation activities across the business, and engaging heavily in competitive research to inform all recommendations.

The Senior Product Strategist:

• Builds and maintains strong business recommendations through extensive competitive and internal research. Drives connection across all relevant stakeholders.
• Develops and leads complex business strategic, competitive, and product analyses. Consults independently to define business problems, issues, and planned approaches for research and analysis. Leads work planning and business problem diagnosis.
• Synthesizes analyses, key findings, and potential solutions into actionable recommendations. Prepares and delivers materials, including presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.
• Provides subject matter expertise in order to derive key insights from highly complex data. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, organizes, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight for the business.
• Stays abreast of industry, market, and business competitive trends. Supports efforts to keep senior management informed of key industry, competitive, and product trends. Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services.
• Fosters innovation across product teams with long term business strategies in mind.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

• Minimum of 8 years related work experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

Preferred Skill Set:

• Competitive Intelligence/Research experience
• Technical competence
• Understanding API Product Suite/Enterprise Advice Product lines
• Superb communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently
