A Day in the Life
As the Global Marketing Director – Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Localized Drug Delivery (LDD) on the ENT Marketing team, you will set global marketing strategy for the LDD portfolio and create and execute marketing programs and strategic growth initiatives. This is a high visibility role which requires broad cross-functional knowledge, strong project management experience, and comprehensive business management skills. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and marketing partners in regions across the world and provide direction and leadership within the organization. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s)
Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities
Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities
Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion
Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place
Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships
Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future market development strategies (Patient and HCP) and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions
Responsible for products and programs to drive category growth for the entire ENT Portfolio
Responsible for all upstream and downstream marketing initiatives for ENT including product launches, pricing frameworks, portfolio management and other key commercial programs designed to drive business growth
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree
10+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years of people or program managerial experience, or Advanced Degree with 8+ years prior relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have
MBA
Prior healthcare marketing experience in Med Device
Experience with drug or drug coated devices
Demonstrated project management experience
Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
Experience driving results in a highly matrixed organization by collaborating across functional boundaries
