What we’re looking for

The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for administering and communicating SurveyMonkey’s global benefits and perks programs and policies, as well as documenting and implementing internal policies and procedures. They will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure compliance and mitigate risk, counsel employees on benefits-related issues, and handle escalated employee concerns. They will also serve as a mentor to the Total Rewards Analyst, a collaborative partner to the regional People Partners, and act as an escalation point of contact for employees on benefit related questions.

What you’ll be working on

  • Global Benefits, Perks & Retirement Management: Partner with our benefit brokers to administer and optimize global perks and benefits, including retirement/pension, insured benefits, and other in-country programs. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, making recommendations as needed to support new and changing legislation.
  • Employee Communications & Change Management: Develop communications plans and content and deliver recommendations to senior leadership. Create and maintain employee resource materials, including benefits guides, intranet content, FAQs, and how-to documents.
  • Annual US Open Enrollment: Drive the planning and execution of US Open Enrollment open enrollment and manage global renewal cycles for Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, India, Australia, Italy, and Germany.
  • Leaves of Absence: Manage leave of absence policies and employee leaves, partnering with the leave administrator (US/CAN), local leave managers, and People Partners to manage leaves of absence. Support preparation of bi-annual leave of absence data reviews for executive leadership.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with third party vendors and administrators, ensuring high-quality service and accountability for expected service outcomes, making recommendations as-needed. In partnership with the Director, Total Rewards, monitor expenditures and recommend cost-control measures to optimize program effectiveness. Develop improvements for ongoing budget oversight.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with People and Places, Legal, Procurement, Business Systems, and Payroll teams to operationalize benefits in internal systems and set up vendor contracts, invoicing, and funding.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years of benefits experience required including managing Open Enrollment and leaves of absence 
  • Advanced knowledge of US healthcare plans and programs; international benefits experience preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to to leverage utilization data, costs and employee feedback to make recommendations and decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and accurately deliver in a fast-paced environment 
  • Customer oriented: experience providing support to employees and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player: experience partnering with cross functional teams to execute benefits programs and policies  
  • Workday experience preferred

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $88,060 / year - $151,800 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
