Your Team, Your Impact
The ODSP team within Marvell’s Connectivity Business Group develops advanced products supporting industry leading solutions for the growing datacenter, enterprise, optics, and AI application. As a member of the ODSP validation team, you will have the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams from analog, software, firmware developers and PCB designers to develop hardware platforms, and write device drivers and scripts to full validate leading edge products. You will be involved in complex lab testing, hardware brings up activities and all facets of the prototype process including PCB fab and assembly.What You Can Expect
- Independently perform ODSP PHY Product validation activities on system, sub-systems, and IP blocks.
- Understanding the application requirements ODSP products.
- Responsible for complete high-speed Transceiver PHY validation in post-silicon environment.
- Translating product requirements into validation requirements and plans
Perform validation activities in coordination with cross functional teams in the following areas:
- Develop characterization strategies over a wide range of compliance specs such as IEEE 802.3, CEI, and FC
- Perform high speed signal validation and analysis using various test equipment. Analyze and debug issues on PHY protocol
- Proficient with operation of advanced instruments and develop automation scripts via python
- Perform analysis with script routines while also enhancing existing routines as needed for lab
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.
- 3+ Years Phy Tranceiver Validation experience
- Python Script automation experience
- Experience with BERT, Realtime Scope, Sampling Scope
- Experience with Lab / Hardware debugging and issue resolution

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
117,930 - 176,600, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
