The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical assistance and handling client and team communications with professionalism. Responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, managing reports, handling policy changes, and maintaining confidentiality.

 

How You Will Contribute 

  • Perform various clerical and administrative functions to provide support to the Commercial Lines Team

  • Ensure that all clients, guests, and teammates are greeted with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth

  • Answer phones, route callers, and take and deliver messages

  • Run/create weekly and monthly reports for the department

  • Scan and attach all mail/correspondence for the department

  • Copy and assemble proposals

  • Address policy change requests by processing endorsements

  • Follow-up on cancellations and endorsements

  • Maintain pleasant and satisfactory relationships with all company and agency personnel, communicating all relevant information to the respective parties

  • Maintain appropriate level of confidentially of information processed

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful  

  • 1+ years of office administration experience, Required

  • High School Diploma, Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Required

  • Previous Personal Lines or Commercial Insurance experience, Preferred

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
