Location: This position can be based in our Boston, MA, or East Hartford, CT office.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the New England Traffic Practice, including business development, project oversight, and team supervision. Foster a professional environment that encourages innovation, development, and succession planning.
Project Oversight: Prepare, coordinate, and supervise traffic engineering design, analysis, and modeling tasks. Ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budgetary constraints.
Team Development: Train and manage traffic engineering staff, including workload distribution, career planning, and individual development plans. Engage with Parsons' Traffic Engineering Technical Organization to share resources and expertise.
Business Development: Lead and support the development of traffic engineering portfolios in collaboration with the New England Leadership Team. Serve as the Traffic Discipline Lead on pursuits and opportunities with state DOTs and local agencies.
Strategic Planning: Participate in business development strategy meetings, proposal development, and industry organization leadership. Maintain current knowledge of project pipelines for key clients.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with 15+ years of experience in traffic engineering and analysis. Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required; PTOE certification is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software such as Synchro, Vissim, and MicroStation. Experience with alternative delivery/design-build projects is a plus.
