Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Associate Operations to join our Transfer Agency Operations team. We are looking for someone to lead the implementation of new clients, manage existing client relationships and assist with developing new offerings to grow our firm's revenue. We need a highly-skilled individual to manage client relationships, both prospective and existing, and collaborate on defining and executing new revenue streams for our business.

Broadridge Corporate Issuer Solutions manages the transfer agent processing for publicly and privately issued securities. This position is within the Transfer Agency Operations group. The candidate will have responsibility for Tax Information Reporting and withholding and will work in the Tax Operations team. The key responsibilities will include reconciliation of tax reportable data for year-end reporting, review, and processing of IRS withholding, making payments to the IRS via the EFTPS system, reporting tax information to recipients and IRS and processing IRS tax notices.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and will work both on-site and remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly 1099 and 1042-S reconciliations to prepare for annual Tax reporting.
• Assist with coordinating the annual 1099 and 1042-S Tax reporting – Reconciliation, processing, and validation of tax forms.
• Support CP2100 (B-Notice) reconciliation to ensure accounts are correctly processed.
• Process IRS Tax remittances via EFTPS
• Provide Tax operations support to the Dividend paying team, in the processing of dividend jobs by reviewing backup withholding, NRA and FATCA withholding when needed.
• Respond to Tax related inquiries from external and internal customers.
• Coordinate systems testing for tax related enhancements and assist with its seamless implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business or other related field. OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
• Able to communicate clearly and courteously.
• Must have excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn quickly using other technical tools/ applications used to complete daily tasks.
• Exceptionally good organizational skills that are sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines.

Salary Range: $27-$30 per hour
