About the role

This position will be working 16 hours/week on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday.

Provides assessment and evaluation support to concurrent and retrospective quality and utilization in accordance with Federal PACE regulations, State of Oregon Administrative rules, and medical, administrative and program staffs. Actively works with physician leadership, directors and managers in the development and implementation of patient safety efforts, including preparation, risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non-clinical systems, and coordinates multidisciplinary quality improvement projects. Conducts Root Cause Analysis of patient safety events, including developing and tracking of action plan items. Acts as a facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement. The QM Coordinator serves as a resource and consultant for Quality Improvement activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years Clinic and/or community nursing.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
