A leading technology organization is seeking a PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle development and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience building, enhancing, and supporting large-scale database applications within enterprise environments.

Position Overview

The PL/SQL Developer will design, build, and maintain Oracle database objects—including procedures, packages, functions, and triggers—while ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance. This individual will partner with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient and reliable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

• Collaborate with application developers and analysts to define and implement data requirements.

• Write efficient SQL queries for ETL and data transformation processes.

• Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot complex database issues.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and database design discussions.

• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

• Support production systems and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7+ years of PL/SQL development experience (8–10 years overall IT experience).

• Proficiency with Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming .

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.

• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer , TOAD , or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and version control (e.g., Git).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder .

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

• Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes .

• Familiarity with Java or Python is a plus.
