Job Description
The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations will be responsible for leading a global team of Revenue Operations (Billing and Cash Application) and Collections leaders, overseeing operational excellence and driving efficiency into the Contract to Cash life cycle for revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Program Management Teams, Sales Operations, and Customer Success
- Implement a metrics-driven management approach to daily operations.
- Manage a global Revenue Operations team, responsible for conducting daily operations of multiple revenue channels.
- Serve as the Business Owner of our ERP modules (SuiteBilling and ARM) in NetSuite as interfaces with upstream processes from Lead to Contract and Fulfillment.
- Partner with Deal Desk and Pricing Committee to escalate and drive decision on non-standard deals.
- Partner with Technical Accountant to assess revenue recognition impact and execute based on conclusion reached.
- Identify processes for automation.
- Drive quality into the organization through constant inspection, verification, and reconciliation.
- Support FP&A in the development of forecasting revenue and reporting.
- Effectively lead change management across teams through documented governance
- Be a trusted advisor across the business.
- Oversee maintenance of key documentation including but not limited to Operations playbooks, policies, system requirements, process Flows,
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure our systems (e.g.NetSuite, salesforce.com) solutions are current with industry standard methodologies and new technology implementations
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a Revenue Operations Team, and overall 7+ years prior Revenue Operations in a high-volume environment (Billing, Collections and Revenue Recognition) or related field at a preferred SAAS company
- Industry knowledge of best practices
- Exceptional communication skills
- Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to identify root causes of problems, generate and evaluate creative solutions, implement fact-based resolutions optimally to drive productivity
- Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages and action-based insights
- Excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously
- Experience with tools/systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Excel, Solution7 and FloQast (a plus)
