Year of experience:

CA with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in the F&A division of a manufacturing Company / Semi qualified accounts or graduates with at least 10 years of similar experience.

 

 

Job Purpose: 

The purpose of a Unit Accountant job is to effectively manage and maintain financial records and reports for a specific business unit or department within an organization. This includes tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Ultimately, the Unit Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information within their assigned unit, and contributes to the overall financial health and success of the organization.

 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Through knowledge of book keeping & accounting transactions, general ledger functions and accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience with SAP accounting software packages & MS Excel skills.
• Handling various audit, knowledge on ICFR and statutory compliances.
• Relevant experience with indirect tax filings and handling matters with tax officials/authorities.
• Experience in annual Budgeting exercise and preparation of working.
• Co-ordination with other departments /Govt. authorities/vendors/customers etc.
