As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll gain experience in providing services to youth, adults, families, couples and groups. You will also have the opportunity to learn from the other clinic clinicians in our weekly group supervision where we staff cases. This is an in-person clinic position with some remote telehealth after supervisor approved.
We are hiring registered intern therapists at Ellie Mental Health’s new locally owned and operated clinic in Bradenton, FL. Ellie is unique in our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. This position is unique also because It’s like having a private practice, but without the headaches (billing/collections, office space overhead, etc.) PLUS the perks of fulltime employment: * Proper compensation* Paid holiday and PTO time off ( for W2 only)* AND flexible scheduling MOST IMPORTANT- Our mission is to encourage your individuality, creativity and passion for providing quality mental health counseling in your community. This is not a remote position. The Bradenton Ellie Mental Health clinic opened in May of 2023. This job is for therapists who can get excited about being at the beginning of building a culture of ending stigma around mental health, while promoting and providing mental health care as part of maintaining an authentic and healthy life for everyone. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)
- Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
- Candidates are required to be registered MHC or SW Interns in Florida
- Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
