Description
As a Accountant III, focusing on Warehouse Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of inventory management, production processes, and cost analysis within manufacturing facility or warehouse products. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate accounting practices, cost control measures, and timely reporting.What Will You Be Doing?
• Implement and enforce revenue recognition policies in alignment with company standards.• Collaborate with sales, financial, and contract teams, as well as auditors, on revenue accounting matters.• Work with product teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition models.
• Optimize systems and reporting tools for efficient revenue classification and recording.
• Conduct month-end tasks, including data verification, journal entry preparation, and ledger reconciliation.
• Analyze balance sheet and profit and loss items for accuracy.
• Review internal and external documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Establish and update accounting procedures as needed.
• Record monthly revenue and cost of revenues.
• Apply appropriate accrual methods according to accounting standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial reporting.
• Develop and modify spreadsheets or procedures under department leadership guidance.
• Collaborate with internal management on transaction adjustments and settlements.
• Provide innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
• Prepare financial data, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and assist with audits.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.• 5-8 years’ experience in accounting.
• Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to create, read and design complex spreadsheets.
• Microsoft D365 experience a huge plus!
