Summary
Barry University Physical Sciences Department is currently seeking two Adjunct Faculty, Chemistry instructors to teach chemistry courses (lecture, supplemental instructions, laboratory sessions) and to collaborate with other faculty within and outside of the department in the development and execution of courses
This position is In-Person
Essential Functions
Teach chemistry lecture, supplemental instruction, and/or laboratory.
Administer, proctor, and grade assignments.
Follow the designated curriculum.
Report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System and Student Planning.
Comply with the laboratory safety guidelines
Responsible for collaborating with respective academic coordinators in the development and execution of the course as well as additional responsibilities outlined in the faculty handbook
Qualifications/Requirements
Master's degree in Chemistry is required
A Master’s Degree in a closely related area with 18 graduate hours in chemistry will substitute for some of the above-required experience.
