Role Summary
As the SVP, Head of Ecommerce, reporting directly to the President & Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across Saks Global’s three owned ecommerce platforms - Saks.com, NeimanMarcus.com and BergdorfGoodman.com, as well as Saks on Amazon. This role is also responsible for partnering across the organization to oversee the digital experience roadmap. As a visionary leader, you will translate category strategies into seamless, high-impact digital experiences that drive revenue, strengthen brand equity, and position Saks Global as a leader in luxury ecommerce.
Job Description
Define and execute the e-commerce channel strategy for the Saks Global banners, driving growth through optimized product assortment, categorization, and promotion activation.
Champion a culture of innovation by leveraging A/B testing, personalization, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the digital customer journey
Apply and evolve a category-driven ecommerce strategy across banners to maximize product discovery, conversion, and digital commercial performance
Lead banner-level ecommerce execution while aligning with centralized platform teams to ensure consistency, innovation, and cost-efficient scaling
Lead site merchandising efforts, ensuring seamless product categorization, engaging Product Detail Page content, and activation of promotional campaigns that align with brand strategy.
Oversee the digital experience roadmap, partnering across Technology and Commercial Analytics and Customer Insights teams to ensure best-in-class customer experiences.
Own the end-to-end Amazon channel strategy, including assortment strategy, channel demand planning, and fulfillment operations, to maximize performance on external platforms.
Ensure ecommerce strategies are integrated across the Commercial organization through deep collaboration and data-driven alignment
Measure and optimize digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve ROI, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
Drive and oversee omni-channel services (e.g., Buy Online, Pick-up in Store). Ensure seamless integration of omnichannel services into the ecommerce experience, including BOPIS, virtual styling, and emerging service models

Key Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Technology, or related fields (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
15+ years leading ecommerce and digital strategy in luxury, retail, or high-growth environments.
Proven success scaling ecommerce revenue through digital experience optimization and omnichannel strategies.
Deep expertise in site merchandising, PDP optimization, and digital performance management, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
Strong understanding of Amazon channel operations, including assortment strategy, demand planning, and fulfillment processes.
Experience managing digital roadmaps, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance customer experiences.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform digital strategies and optimize performance.
Expertise in digital operations, including order fulfillment, returns management, and technical process optimization.
Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across matrixed organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in luxury retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel environments.
Familiarity with advanced digital marketing tools, PIM/DAM systems, and e-commerce platforms.
